“Challenge is the pathway to engagement and progress in our lives. But not all challenges are created equal. Some challenges make us feel alive, engaged, connected, and fulfilled. Others simply overwhelm us. Knowing the difference as you set bigger and bolder challenges for yourself is critical to your sanity, success, and satisfaction. ” The words of Brendon Burchard engrossed me in a thought of positive provocations and I couldn’t resist to write upon it.

Have you ever noticed how often the challenges we face also contains a blessing in disguise? If not, perhaps you haven’t been looking closely enough! Granted, life’s challenges usually seem like inconveniences when they interrupt our schedules, or get in the way of something we want to do. Isn’t that part of the reason we call them challenges?

Most times, we tend to shy away from challenges of life for two reasons:
1. Having the belief that, we can do nothing about such challenges.
2. Believing that, running away from challenges is the best option.
Have you ever thought of a world without challenges? What impression does it create in you? I’m quit sure that if I should carryout a survey on this, I am very sure that, 90—95% of us will choose to live without challenges. But hey, that has no power of activating your potentials.

Challenging circumstances are part of life, that’s not going to change. However, that doesn’t mean that you are a victim of circumstances. Your attitude and perception are something that you create. They are not dictated by your circumstances. You always have a choice! So, the real question here is this, will you choose to look for a blessing in every challenge?

Interestingly, behind every unpleasant challenge, there’s an untold glory so why do you freak out when you’ve got that potential to enlighten your own path? You are NEVER a victim. Yes I will say that over and over again. You are NEVER a victim. Challenges don’t happen to you to punish you or keep you back in life. They happen to test your resolve and see how strong, determined and conscious you have become on your path. Every time you overcome a perceived challenge, you earn another level of conscious evolution. And on the flip side, every time you allow yourself to fall down and feel sorry for yourself, you take a step back.

Stephan Hawking, the story of a man whom doctor said that will live not more than two years, is doing great research in cosmology well from last 50 years, isn’t it a shocking fact? It is not the story of how stupendous research he did but the story of how he denied accepting the challenge that life had thrown at him.
Challenges are like the mining process in gold making. It is what brings out the true nature and quality of gold. It makes you fit, appreciated and cherished by the world. These are what challenges can do to you.

Take control of your life and change your perception the next time you hit a challenge. Don’t let a closed door be an end zone. Learn to find the key and open the door yourself so you can keep moving forward and create the life you truly deserve.
