What You Think, You Manifest and Become!

Thoughts have got immense power. However for most of us, thoughts are only figments of one’s imagination. Generally, people consider thoughts as spare time entertainment, but the only reason for this is that they have never paid attention to the power of thoughts.

When novelist Victor Hugo said, “There is nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come,” we now know that this was more than a metaphor. He may not have fully realized it at the time, but he was giving us a literal description of how reality works. Our thoughts are the controlling factor in what we manifest and create in our lives.

History and science have proven that, your thought determines your actions. The way you think determines the way you respond to things happening around you. Those responses determine your emotions. Your emotions determine your actions, and your actions determine your results. Your reality is in fact, the result of your daily thoughts. The pathway to your future is fashioned by what you think and how you respond to what you think.

At age 14, self-help guru Dr Wayne Dyer of blessed memory, told himself he would be on Steve Allen’s The Tonight Show one day. Two decades later, when he actually was, he realized how he had created that moment for himself with the “powerful knowing” he had as a teen. It wasn’t a wish or a dream; it was an intention he was aware of, which created the future moment for him. He believed that by imagining himself in that future moment, he activated the dormant forces that transformed his dream to reality.

Man is a product of thought. You cannot rise above the level of your thinking. What you think, you manifest and become. It has been said that, you attract thoughts, people, and experiences which are congruent with how you think and feel about yourself. If you want good health, perfect job, the right life partner, wealth, success, you must develop a self image that is compatible with these very thoughts, namely good health, perfect job, right life partner, wealth and success. Herbert Harris was not wrong when he said that, “your thought is the foundation of your life experiences. These experiences begin with your self- image, the thoughts you have about yourself.” So what are you thinking about you?

The great majority of people have formed the habit of listless thinking, which makes them incapable of holding onto any subject until it is thoroughly mastered. Although thoughts which flit through the mind may be good, bad, or indifferent – mostly the latter – the mind does not usually hold on to any one of them sufficiently long to learn its nature. Thought-control is often very difficult to attain. Once attained, however, the possessor holds within his hand the key to success in whatever line he may be engaged.

WHATEVER the mind of a man can conceive and believe”  says Napoleon Hills “it can achieve.” This is one of Hill’s hallmark expressions. If you analyze critically Hills expression, you will understand that he was talking about ANYTHING imaginable (not few or selected things) that the mind conceives and believe, is achieveable. This is tantamount to the famously well-known “garbage in garbage out” principle of a functioning computer system. The mind operates on thoughts conceived which in turn forms our experiences. Whatever thought you conceive and believe, forms you.

I want you to begin to see yourself as a bullet in a gun, the trigger as your actions and the hand that pulls the trigger as your thought. For the bullet to actualize any purpose, it requires a pull on the trigger which is the thought that generates the action that sends the bullet out on a mission. Whatever be your thought, there’s always an effect. The secret to your success lies in controlling your thoughts.

Your thoughts are VERY powerful– not only do they have the ability to physically change your body and the electromagnetic field around it…They also affect the electromagnetic fields of those around you. Whatever you think about on a consistent basis is exactly what you will get more of! Whether it be positive or negative.

  1. “Whether it be positive or negative” I’m glad you did not neglect this idea in your article. It is very profound when a person realizes they are the sum of their thoughts. If you aren’t where you want to be in life, you need to alter the way you think before true change can begin. We need to be very purposeful in our thought life. Nice article! 2. The universe is the product of our collective consciousness and actions. It is the cosmic dance between Shiva-Shakti as mentioned in the advaida. The interaction between Shiva (physical matter)(body)(things) and Shakti (thought)(electromagnetic field / energy)(kinetic energy) (movement). The cause and affect repercussions of thoughts, words, actions and outcomes are explained in the bhagvad gita with the explanatory words “Manasa’ (mind), Vacha (words), Karmana (actions)….given to arjuna by lord krishna….akin to revelation given to john in genesis……https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manasa,_vacha,_karmana
